If your child likes to solve puzzles, then give Puzzles For Kids a try. As I see it, there’s a lot you’re going to like about this software: it is portable, it allows you to download images and turn them into puzzles, it allows you to select locally stored images and turn them into puzzles, you can pick one of several difficulty levels, you can use Puzzles For Kids for free for as long as you want.

As mentioned above, Puzzles For Kids is a portable application. This means that you won’t have to install this application. To get it up and running you need only download and run an executable. To be able to run Puzzles For Kids, your PC must meet the following system requirements: 400MHz processor or better, 256MB of RAM or more, 4MB of free disk space, 1024 x 768 resolution or higher, Windows operating system.

Puzzles For Kids has a colorful interface. In the upper left hand corner you will see the following four buttons:
Download – download an image from the developer’s website and turn it into a puzzle.
Open – select a locally stored image and turn it into a puzzle.
Print – print out the puzzle.
Difficulty – select a difficulty level (easy 25 pieces, medium 100 pieces, hard 400 pieces) and choose if you want to rotate the puzzle.

Next to the Difficulty button there’s a preview window. After you download or select an image, this preview window will display the image you select. Whenever you need a bit of help figuring out where the puzzle pieces go, place the mouse cursor over the preview window to be presented with the image you’re trying to piece together.

Puzzles For Kids is offered to Windows users around the world for the great price of free.

Give Puzzles For Kids a picture and it will turn it into a puzzle. You can then have a bit of fun solving the puzzle.
